Frequently Asked Questions

This collection of frequently asked questions (FAQ's) provides brief answers to many commend questions about Fuzion. If you have a question that is not addressed below, please send an email with your question to info@fuzionag.com.

What is Fuzion?

Fuzion is a chemical company with a unique line of products who markets directly to the retailer. Fuzion has more than 40 EPA registered products to go along with the BEST adjuvant and micronutrient line in the industry. Fuzion is composed of a large team of individuals with extensive experience in US and International management, marketing, sales, retail & wholesale distribution and product development.

How is Fuzion different than other chemical companies?

Our primary difference is our “go to market” strategy. Fuzion employs a controlled distribution strategy where we ONLY market our products through our Fuzion B2B Network. The Fuzion B2B Network currently has more than 350 independent retailers and cooperatives that we transact directly with. They get the opportunity to market Fuzion Technologies, LLC brands as well as gain access to numerous other supplier brands where those manufacturers or partners have asked us to distribute on their behalf.

Do you sell non Fuzion Technologies' brands as well?

Yes. We have agreements with several chemical companies and partners to sell their brands as well. While we have a broad and extensive line of “Z-Brands”, we recognize that we cannot solve all agronomic challenges. With that in mind, we work very closely with over 15 manufacturers and partners to distribute their brands in addition to our own.

What is the Fuzion B2B Network?

The Fuzion B2B Network consists of more than 350 independent retailers and cooperatives from coast to coast. While it is estimated that there are more than 9,000 retailers in the US, our goal is to work closely with no more than 450 B2B customers.

How can I become a member of the Fuzion B2B Network?

You can do so by clicking on the “Join Fuzion” tab on our home page – OR – call 1.888.Fuzion8 – OR – send a quick email to info@fuzionag.com and we will follow up.

Is Fuzion an internet based company?

NO – Fuzion is a chemical company that develops, registers and markets its products directly to independent retailers and cooperatives in the US. You are able to sign up on-line if you wish – but you will be in touch with any of our more than 30 employees and reps across the country.

Did Fuzion have an association with XSAg.com at one time?

Nearly 2 years ago when Fuzion started, we were interested in the XSAg.com operating system as a tool to help manage the Fuzion Technologies' business. We initiated discussions to acquire the technology through a joint venture/acquisition plan. We also felt that by owning the technology we could also offer up the XSAg.com system to Fuzion B2B retailers for them to satisfy internet sales separately from their own business. After about 6 months, we realized that is was far too difficult to incorporate the XSAg.com system into our B2B network. It simply did not bring the value to our B2B customers that we had hoped. As a result, we ended discussions and XSAg.com remains a division of XS, Inc.

What happened to the Joint Venture?

Near the end of our negotiations with XSAg, another potential buyer emerged allowing us a "clean" and "graceful" exit from the transaction. Ultimately, XSAg was not sold and remains a divison of XS, Inc. Fuzion Technologies was able to redeploy its focus on the development of new products and the expansion of its retail customer base with out the distractions generated by an e-commerce "connection".

How can I meet somebody from Fuzion?

We have more than 30 employees in the US. Casey McDaniel heads up our Fuzion B2B platform. We have regional representation in the Midwest and Plains states. We would be happy to visit your business and talk about Fuzion and its benefits.

Is there a way to further strengthen the bond between my retail business and Fuzion?

Yes. First – the benefits to being in the Fuzion B2B network are numerous, as we have explained. However, we are currently experimenting with two additional models where we can forge an even tighter partnership.

  • Authorized Fuzion Technology Centers are the first step. Here we work with you to identify exclusive or semi exclusive marketing geographies for you to market Fuzion Technologies' brands. We fortify joint marketing efforts and offer additional services such as compliance programs, safety programs, etc that help you with your business. In exchange we ask for certain sales and marketing objectives. Typically we explore these options in year two or three of being in the Fuzion B2B network. That way you have a good feel for our capabilities, technology, etc – and vice versa.
  • Fuzion Technology Centers is another option. Many geographies within the US are dominated by one or two of the multinational retail organizations. This means that farmers can only buy from two or three options – none of which are customers of Fuzion Technologies, LLC. However, there may be an independent retailer – or an individual wanting to become an independent retailer – in one of those geographies who is looking to establish a storefront. In these cases, Fuzion Ag, Incorporated can set up various business models whereby that individual – or team of individuals – can get personal and business insurance coverage; safety, regulatory, OSHA and DOT compliance; Hazard Communication Plans and Emergency Response Plans – in addition to Fuzion Technologies brands, non Fuzion brands, etc. Essentially – Fuzion Ag, Inc is able to offer the infrastructure and support for these individuals to do what they do best – service their customers. Where independent retailers and cooperatives already have this infrastructure, they typically remain Fuzion B2B members or elevate to Authorized Fuzion Technology Center status.

Your strategy is very retail friendly – how do you intend to keep it that way?

Our goal is not to saturate the market with Z-Brands. We always intend to have this very limited and controlled distribution strategy. Our vision is to ONLY have 450 – 500 B2B members/Authorized Fuzion Technology Centers across the country and no more than 35 – 40 Fuzion Technology Centers. What is most important to us is that these three customer bases exist in a way that allows them to earn strong margins on Fuzion Technologies' brands. The way we will do this is through geographical separation and management. Regardless of whether you are a B2B member, AFTC or FTC – we will hustle and treat you like you are our only customer!
